In preparation for an assessment on the 5.3 skill, master these IXL skills for practice. All of these IXL skills match the overall fifth grade standard of analyzing something we read by comparing and contrasting parts of the text. We will continue to work on this all year, but we want to see how much progress we have made so far. Both skills are in the Language Arts section of IXL.com. You must be logged in to get credit for your work. If no work is recorded on IXL, you will get a 0 in your homework grade. You can stop after 30 minutes or after you have mastered both skills--whichever comes first. If there is no snow day, then you will not need to do this assignment. I will be able to monitor your progress live online, so feel free to email me if you have any trouble. Sincerely, Ms. Granstrand _______ Level G U.3 Compare and contrast characters _______ Level G V.2 Identify story elements Notes:
